1.1 Introduction


Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Block, also called Light Block, used siliceous (fly ash, sand and, slag) And calcareous (lime & cement) as the main raw materials, which through the process of batching, pouring, curing, cutting, autoclaving, separating and packing to make into the final products. It is new type & environmental construction material and widely used for industry and civil building construction.

AAC Block is the most mature technology of production and application in the worldwide nowadays.


1.2 National Standard

The People’s Republic of China Standard: GB/T 11968-1997

1.2.1 Standard

The items of the below standard content, after the cited in this standard then form the items of this standard. While the publication of this standard, this standard are the valid standard. All the standard must be revised, while use every aspect of this standard should discuss the possibility of the latest version.


GB9196-88 mix the industry waste residue building material radioactivity substance control standard.

GB10294-88 heat insulation raw material steady-state thermal resistance

1.2.3 The block can be classified according to the compressive strength and bulk density.

The compressive strength includes: A1.0, A2.0, A2.5, A3.5, A5.0, A7.5, A10

The bulk density includes: B03, B04, B05, B06, B07, B08


1.2.4 The block can be divided into three grades according to measurement tolerance, appearance, bulk density and compressive strength: High quality degree (A), first-class degree (B), qualified degree(C).


1.2.5 Block Product Mark

  • Mark according to the product name (code ACB), intensity degree, bulk density degree, specification & size, product degree and standard no.
  • Mark example:

if the test result contradicts, then subject to the result by the standard wy test.

2. The block used for wall, allow no test thermal conductivity coefficient.

Mix the industry waste residue as the raw material, the radioactivity substance content should conform to the regulation of GB9196.
